Western Michigan University's
Business Association of Mentors

About us
BAM is a peer-to-peer student organization that's purpose is to provide invaluable mentorship and development events to underclassmen business students. Our main goal is to guide the future leaders of the Haworth College of Business and help everyone we can to get the best start to their academic and social careers.

Our organization was started in 2017 by Lauren Nowakowski on the foundation that mentorship is an incredible tool for successful upperclassmen business students to pass down their knowledge to underclassmen, who would greatly benefit from the acclimation and insight.

As you'll see below in our organization's activities, we have grown from that vision, but peer-to-peer mentorship is still the most pivotal part of our young organization.

We have handpicked some of the most successful business students at WMU to provide you with weekly 1-on-1 mentorship. They are there to guide you through all of the trials you may face as a college student and help you become much more successful.

In order to follow our mission of helping you to become as successful of a business student as possible, we also offer many events throughout the year to help you become a better student, better professional, and expand your network.

Group RSO Networking
The last part of our organization's activities is helping our members find other great RSO's to join. This we do by hosting events with multiple other prominent RSO's within our community and encouraging our members to get involved as much as possible.
